Newly opened to visitors
Seventeen hectares and nearly six hundred structures: temples, ceremonial plazas, dwellings and chullpas. Peru’s Ministry of Culture has restored over three hundred structures since 2019, and archaeologists concluded it was not a secondary settlement but a first-order political and religious centre of the Tahuantinsuyo.
