We are a tour operator from Espinar. We live here, and we take visitors along the roads we have always walked.
Discover Hanccocahua, the lost city of the Incas, and the fortress of T’aqrachullo.
From Espinar to the world
For years Espinar has welcomed travellers passing through on their way to Colca or Cusco. Today it has reasons of its own to stop: T’aqrachullo, the Three Canyons, the colonial temples of Coporaque and a K’ana culture still alive in its festivals.
Central Travel Agency was born to show this land alongside the people who truly know it. We do not bring in outside guides: we work with people from the province, with the community tourism associations of Suyckutambo and with local drivers.
We are a licensed company, registered as GRUPO CENTRAL TRAVEL BUSINESS HOLDING SAC, and we operate alongside two allied agencies certified by MINCETUR.
How we work
With local people
Guides, drivers and cooks from the province. Tourism money stays in Espinar.
Small groups
We cap spots per date. A newly opened archaeological site cannot take crowds, and you did not come here to queue.
No inflated promises
If a route does not fit in one day, we say so and sell it as two. We would rather have an honest review than a forced sale.
Responsible tourism
We comply with Law 29408 against the sexual exploitation of minors and work with the province’s tourism institutions.

Where we take you
Espinar has 54 registered tourism sites. These are the ones we operate today, and we add routes as more are opened to visitors.
Hanccocahua · T’aqrachullo
The lost city of the Incas and the María Fortaleza, on a cliff overlooking the Apurímac canyon. Over 300 restored structures, open to visitors since December 2024.
Three Canyons of Suyckutambo
A 39,485-hectare Regional Conservation Area where the Apurímac, Callumani and Cerritambo rivers meet between volcanic rock walls.
K’anamarka
Capital of the K’ana nation, with its restored circular dwellings on the high Andean plain.
Mawk’allaqta and Paris Pucará
Settlements with funerary structures, defensive walls and their own road network, at the canyon’s edge.
Muyuqhawa
A monumental archaeological complex, declared National Cultural Heritage in 2024.
Rock paintings
Late Archaic rock art in the shelters of Suyckutambo and Coporaque: camelids, deer and hunting scenes in mineral pigment.
National recognition
Masters of the Bicentennial
Our founder, Jorge Huillca Vargas, received the national “Masters of the Bicentennial” award in Tourism and Gastronomy, granted by Peru’s Centre for Tourism and Gastronomy Research under the auspices of MINCETUR and PROMPERÚ. Lima, December 2024.
