Booking policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. Bookings and payments

A booking is confirmed only upon full payment of the tour through PayPal. Once payment is completed, the customer receives an email confirmation with the booking code, tour, option, date and number of passengers.

All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) and include payment gateway fees. The published price is the final price: no charges are added at checkout.

Prices are per person.

2. Non-refundable bookings

All bookings are final and non-refundable. Full payment confirms the spot and does not allow a cash refund for customer cancellation or for failure to attend on the day of the tour.

This condition is expressly accepted by ticking the corresponding box before completing payment.

3. Date changes

The customer may request a date change once, with a minimum of 7 calendar days notice before the booked date and subject to availability.

Requests made with less than 7 days notice are at the discretion of the agency according to operational availability.

4. Cancellation by the agency

If Central Travel Agency cancels a tour for not reaching the minimum number of passengers or for reasons attributable to the agency, the customer may choose between rescheduling at no cost or receiving a credit for the amount paid, valid for 12 months on any of our tours.

5. Force majeure

In the event of adverse weather, road blockades, strikes, demonstrations, natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the agency’s control — frequent situations in the Andean region — the tour may be suspended or modified.

In such cases no cash refund applies, but the customer may reschedule at no cost or receive a credit valid for 12 months.

Passenger safety always prevails over completing the itinerary.

6. Passenger responsibility

Tours take place above 3,900 metres (12,800 ft) above sea level. We recommend acclimatising at least one day beforehand and consulting a doctor in case of cardiac or respiratory conditions.

The passenger must be present at the stated departure point and time. Failure to appear at the agreed time is considered a no-show and gives no right to refund or rescheduling.

It is the passenger’s responsibility to carry their ID card or passport throughout the trip.

7. Itinerary changes

The agency reserves the right to change the order of visits or replace one with another of equivalent value when road conditions, weather or safety require it.

8. Requests and contact

All date change requests must be made in writing to contacto@centraltravel.pe, stating the booking code and the reason. We reply within a maximum of 48 working hours.
