Espinar’s tourism sector marched together for Peru’s 205th anniversary
Transport, gastronomy, crafts and hospitality marched under a single banner. Not a ceremonial gesture — proof that the trade association actually works as one.

Four sectors that compete with each other the rest of the year walked together through Espinar’s main square. Tourist transport, gastronomy, crafts and hospitality marched under one banner at the 205th Anniversary of Peru’s Independence.
The Espinar Tourism Chamber and the Federation of Tourism, Industry and Production Operators (FEMOTIP) led the delegation.
Why marching together matters
A destination is not built by one agency alone. It is built by the driver who arrives on time, the cook who serves lunch in Suyckutambo, the weaver who makes the keepsake the visitor takes home, and the guesthouse that welcomes them back from the canyon.
When those four links organise themselves, the visitor notices. And when they do not, they notice that too.
The commitment
The Chamber renewed its commitment to initiatives that position Espinar as a competitive, sustainable destination that creates opportunity for the whole population.
Long live Peru! Long live Espinar!
