Peru’s Congress recognised Espinar’s tourism leaders

The Congress of the Republic of Peru, through the office of Congressman Dr. Ángel Aragón Carreño, recognised members of the Espinar Tourism Chamber for their sustained work developing tourism in the province.

Those honoured

Jorge Huillca Vargas — President of the Espinar Tourism Chamber.

Franklin Condori Flores — Technical Secretary.

Aamaris Quispe Ríos — Director of Destination Management.

Other directors driving initiatives to strengthen tourism in Espinar were recognised alongside them.

More than 50 tourism assets to promote

The province has over fifty identified tourism assets. Turning them into actual visits demands training, formalisation, promotion, institutional coordination and new tourism products.

That is the work the Board intends to continue: establishing tourism as a sustainable economic alternative for Espinar, together with rural communities, entrepreneurs, operators, authorities and both public and private institutions.

Alongside other Cusco sectors

The distinction was awarded alongside regional figures contributing to health, culture, commerce and tourism.

Tourism creates opportunity, employment and development for the people of Espinar.
