First business formalisation workshop for Espinar’s tourism sector
Guesthouses, restaurants, agencies and transport operators received guidance from GERCETUR, MINCETUR, the Municipality and SUNARP — a Chamber initiative that delivered.

The First Support and Advisory Workshop for Business Formalisation in the Tourism Sector took place, aimed at owners of guesthouses, restaurants, travel agencies, tourist transport and other service providers in Espinar province.
The workshop was a direct result of the Espinar Tourism Chamber’s work with GERCETUR Cusco.
What was resolved in the room
Business formalisation, safe tourism, operating licences, company incorporation, registry filing and sector requirements.
All with GERCETUR, MINCETUR, the Provincial Municipality of Espinar and SUNARP working together in the same room: business owners resolved in one morning what normally takes weeks of separate paperwork.
Why formalisation is not just paperwork
An international traveller booking from the United States or Europe wants an invoice, insurance and a company that stands behind the service. Informality closes doors you never see.
This is only the first step
The Chamber will continue arranging training, technical assistance and actions that strengthen the competitiveness, quality and formalisation of the province’s tourism businesses.
